Trio — AI 2 Design is a product of ai2.design, operated by BEY AGENCY LTD. It is proprietary software distributed under a commercial license. Your use is governed by our EULA and Terms of Service. This page provides a clear, human-readable summary of what you can and cannot do with Trio and the content you create with it. For the full legal terms, refer to the linked documents.

What you can do

Your Designs & Output

Own everything you create — all designs, prototypes, and exported code are 100% yours
Use designs commercially — client work, products, SaaS apps, mobile apps, websites — no restrictions
Sell products built with Trio — ship apps, sell templates, deliver client projects — your output, your revenue
Modify generated designs — edit, remix, combine, rebuild — the output is standard Figma layers you fully control
Use exported code in production — React, Next.js, Vue, Flutter, or any framework — deploy without limitations
No attribution required — you never need to credit Trio in your designs, code, or products
No royalties — we never take a cut of your revenue, regardless of your plan

Using the Plugin

Use on multiple devices — install on your work laptop, home desktop, or any machine (within your plan's session limits)
Use in any Figma file — personal files, shared team files, client files — all supported
Use for any lawful purpose — personal projects, freelance, corporate work, education, open source
Create unlimited designs — no cap on total designs (daily prompt limits apply per plan, but no lifetime limits)
Keep designs forever — designs stay in your Figma file even if you cancel Trio. We never delete your work.

Team Usage

Invite team members — add designers, developers, and stakeholders to your Team plan
Share prompt templates — create reusable prompts that any team member can use with one click
Set team defaults — establish a default design system and AI model for consistency across your team
Track team usage — view aggregate statistics to manage design resources

Content Creation About Trio

Create reviews and tutorials — blog posts, YouTube videos, courses, tweets — share your experience freely
Show screenshots of the plugin — include Trio's interface in your content (with reasonable context)
Recommend Trio — affiliate or referral programs may be available (check ai2.design for current programs)

What you cannot do

With the Software

Redistribute the software — do not share, upload, or redistribute the companion server, plugin source, or npm package under a different name
Reverse engineer — do not decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code (except where permitted by applicable law for interoperability)
Modify the software — do not alter, patch, or create derivative versions of the plugin or companion server
Extract AI configurations — do not extract, copy, or reuse system prompts, tool definitions, or AI configurations from the Software
Extract design system data — do not extract the bundled DS specification files (component JSONs, token definitions) for use outside of Trio
Remove branding or notices — do not strip copyright notices, license headers, or attribution from the Software

With Your Account

Share credentials — each user must have their own account. Do not share login info between people.
Create multiple free accounts — do not register multiple accounts to circumvent daily prompt limits
Circumvent plan limits — do not use scripts, bots, or workarounds to bypass tier restrictions
Transfer your account — accounts are non-transferable without our written consent
Use expired subscriptions — when your subscription ends, paid features are no longer licensed for use

Commercial Restrictions

Resell the Service — do not offer Trio's capabilities as your own product or service (e.g., "Design-as-a-Service" powered by Trio) without a written partnership agreement
White-label the Software — do not rebrand or relabel Trio as your own tool
Build a competing product — do not use the Software, its architecture, system prompts, or design system specifications to build a competing AI design tool
Scrape or benchmark — do not use automated tools to benchmark, profile, or extract performance data from the Service for competitive purposes

Content Restrictions

Harmful content — do not generate designs promoting violence, hate, exploitation, or illegal activities
Fraudulent designs — do not create phishing pages, scam interfaces, or deceptive content
IP infringement — do not use Trio to reproduce copyrighted designs or trademarked brand identities without permission
Misleading claims — do not falsely claim that AI-generated designs were manually created when transparency is required (e.g., in design competitions with originality requirements)

Trio Figma Plugin

Proprietary

Trio — AI 2 Design is proprietary software distributed under a commercial license. Your use is governed by our EULA and Terms of Service. The plugin may not be copied, modified, or distributed.

Generated Output

Your Property

All designs, prototypes, and code generated through Trio are fully owned by you. You may use, modify, and distribute generated output without restriction. ai2.design claims no rights over your creative work.

Design Systems

Anthropic / Claude AI

Your use of Claude AI through Trio is subject to Anthropic's own terms:

Key points: Anthropic states that outputs generated via their API are not claimed as Anthropic's property. Your prompts are not used for model training (per Anthropic's enterprise data commitments). Claude's usage is subject to Anthropic's content policy, which prohibits harmful outputs.

Figma Platform

Trio operates within Figma's plugin ecosystem and is subject to:

Your Figma files and their contents are governed by your agreement with Figma, not by Trio.
